Not to mess this up but...I think that is a goose(or some different kind of duck that does not have a bill like a duck). The good thing is..if it is a goose you can raise them just like ducks! By the way...WELCOME to BYC

You know I was thinking the same thing about the bill not being right for a duck! I kept looking at the picture and staring at the bill. So I just looked up Australian black ducks and they don't have a bill like this little one. I didn't see any in the list of Aussie ducks that looked like that.
