Thanks Bogtown! I wasnt going to get any this year, but I figured Hope needed some sisters to get the attention off of her from the others.

Sounds like a good idea to me! LOL. I would love to do the same...but I'm at capacity in my coop with what I've got. I can see where the chicken math would get me in trouble.

I know how you keep those big, fluffy butts WHITE. You photoshop them before posting. Much easier than bathing them.

She still needs some to come in the sides, tho' huh? Poor thing. That's weird how the others have pretty much started coming in but those there are taking their sweet time. The body must just focus on an area at a time...almost, seems.

that the rest get here soon for our beautiful Hope.

lol... I took photos tonight. Figured it was time for an update....



Still doing great! more feathers starting to come in, still laying an egg a day, still feisty! 'ats my Hope!





still healthy, eating good, etc. Hope has been without her coat during the day now. Unfortunatley, they have been inside this week, the temp as been cold, and i have a second hen who is not feeling to well, so they all got stuck in. Pretty soon, she wont need it. there is still al lot of bare skin under there, but it's coming along.
