respiratory symptoms- not getting better

denagard is actually in the mail on its way to me. If she's stopped sneezing do you think theres still a need to medicate?

Is it possible she could not infect the others if i put her back? If i can save a whole flock from being sick I would have to seriously consider it.

She's so sweet and I hate this.

One more question... two of my other pullets who are separate from the sick hen have their inner eyelid showing. I can't remember now if they've always been that way but they have me nervous because in cats it is a sign of illness. I tried searching for something similar in chickens but no luck. Does anybody know if this is something that could indicate they are not well?

Can you post a picture?

This is not the best photo but for some reason it was difficult to capture.
I see what you mean, but I'm not sure I'd worry too much. Do you have a kitchen scale? If so, might be a good idea to start weighing them. Any loss or lack of gain usually means they're getting sick.

I will try to begin keeping track of her weight. Is this a known symptom of illness or not related?

I'm not sure if it means anything, but if they start displaying any other symptoms, then perhaps the two are related.

I will remember this suggestion if I have any suspicions of illness in the future.

I have gone through dry pox and secondary infections in my flock. I believe that look can indicate dehydration. Some of my birds had empty crops but no coughing/sneezing behaviors. Not eating, probably not drinking...weird. Added electrolytes, boost of vitamins and coconut oil. That sort of thing. Maybe add water mix to feed bowl for funny eye look. And separate if you can. I do think it says some kind of sick.
