I guess he trusts you to man the fort now! It must be quite a relief for him to finally have help.Henry ambled past me this morning mutering something like "you got this?" and headed for the spot you see him in. He was in the bath for over half an hour. None of the hens joined him, not that there was a lot of room in the hole he dug. The soil was about perfect for rooster bathing. I think I've mentioned that the roosters I've seem bathing don't go for the dust; they like damp composty earth.
I went and pulled weeds with the hens.
