I don't think I'm going to be able to hang. I have a treadle feeder & some 4L tubs. One tub filled once a day has been doing well unless it's super hot. The feed holds about 5kg of mash ~ heaps but not if my BAs decide to hog.
Is she also top hen? My BAs were laying when I got them & dominated the food until the BRs started laying as well ~ & they still have a tendency to hog the food. My new girls will be POL & I want them to have a fair share from the start. There is actually enough food for everyone no matter what my BAs think!

Gorgeous! I have just booked a barge. Oh. My. One way to get motivated on this coop. I did the 2nd coat & the doors today but we have still to hang the things & put up our wire. I am now super anxious & excited & stressed & I do like things to stay as calm as possible! My daughter has a lot of hand~holding to do, I think. Her way of dealing with me is to pass the sugar & say, Just breath, mother. Breathing...Such beautiful birds! My barny is not gorgeous like your's but she has a truckload of personality! I think her feathering is more pencilled than laced, if that makes sense? I'm not at all an expert on these things.

lol Quite a lot of birds to choose from as Kate does the Samford Markets on Saturday. Goodness knows what we'll end up with!
