Glad to hear there’s no Lyme diesease there! Hope you both feel better soon. I’ve been itching all my bug bites (apparently I am very tasty too!) just reading this. Ticks are actually the one thing above spiders on my “eeeek! Eww... kill it with fire!” List. It’s like someone crossed all the worst aspects of spiders and mosquitoes and leeches.

I'm a bit disappointed it's not green but it is quite a dark brown. I certainly won't confuse it with the other eggs!

She is 21 weeks old and has been checking out the nesting boxes for over a week but this egg was under their favourite bush. Go figure :idunno

Parasites! I can't stand 'em: ticks, leeches, worms ~ all icky, icky, icky. Makes my skin crawl. Spiders I can live with. :D
 
Spent this morning clearing out our junk room ~ none of which either John or I technically own~ so the lad can tile & am now going to go & deal with the coop & let the girls have their run. :fl they behave. I am feeling cross so misbehaviour will not be viewed benevolently.
