Yes, loose leaf tea is superior imho. I have a teapot both at home and at work. I just microwave the second cup to get it hot again and I have milk in mine. My MIL tipped out the second cup out of my pot when she was ‘helpfully’ tidying up a couple of weeks ago, and when I complained, she asked if I drank it cold?! No, that’s what microwaves are for!

I do really like that I can still enjoy it cold. Is that OK tea people?

My hubby microwaves his tea if it's gone cold, I've always found it a really odd thing to do.

If you want a smokey tea, Lapsang Souchong is very strong and one of hubby's favourites. I personally think it smells like smoked haddock and can't stand it.

Sure. Iced tea is a standard thing - until a few years ago I am betting it was bigger than iced coffee.

I don’t think Lapsang is a tea for a novice tea drinker. It is a very divisive taste.
I am with you on it. The first time I was given some I thought there must be something rotting in the tea container.

So avoiding that!

Microwave tea? Perish the thought!

The second cup is what a tea cozy is for, and a top up of boiling water.

I don’t have tea cozys and honestly, reheated tea in the microwave is fine.
