For Thirsty Thursday we are serving a lightly chilled Muddy Pool.
This entertaining little beverage comes from the down spout using only water from the West side of the roof and a proprietary blend of leaf and twig additives.

Yes. Like ACM said, everything is ok. Cold is unusual but go for it.

Lapsang Souchong is too smokey for my palate. The first time I tried it, I made a face that cracked everyone up

I am, I just wish Penguin was 100% better. I got Lottie and Snowy cuddles last night, much to their disgust. They’re light and bony; is that normal? They seem to eat heaps. Lottie actually climbs right into the treadle feeder, I’ll have to try and get a photo of her doing that!

Light & bony is normal with my lot. All the feathering is quite deceptive. My Lottie used to climb right in the treadle feeder too. And all my littlies will get right into a tray. I think worming is a good idea though, especially after all the rain. You need to know all chickens carry a worm load but if you can actually see worms it's a really bad infestation! Up here, where it's so warm & muggy, I worm regularly though lots of free ranging really helps as they are not constantly reworking infested ground.
