No dramas because my big girls have been very naughty! They have bailed everyone else up in the coop away from the food & water & are lording it about downstairs!
When I got out there the light Favorelle X had made it dowstairs but had been pushed into a corner obviously terrified. Naughty girls! The Australorp bantam is the only new girl doing exactly as she pleases.
I have put food & water in the coop but my Lavender Frizzle is a clutz & promptly stepped into everything. Messy! However everyone has now had something to eat & drink though I am a bit worried about my LFX. She seems to have lost confidence & slipped right to the bottom of the pecking order. I know someone has to be there but I had to put the food & water dishes right under her nose. She hustled into a nesting box & won't come out. My little Wyndotte bantam is holding her own & everyone else seems happy enough. They have enough room to scratch about upstairs & roost & something to look at.
My naughty girls will be let out later on so the others will get a respite & a chance to dust bath & strut.

Poor little LFX I hope she spreads her wings when the big girls go out to play. Maybe she'll find a friend among the other new girls.

She's had some stress free time for a few hours & is much more settled. Unfortunately the Favorelles are so timid they usually end up on the bottom of the pecking order & one thing I can say about BAs & BRs ~ they're not timid!Poor little LFX
