Beatha was first hen in ~ but she was ready to lay & outside is wet & cold.
The Vorwerk knew what they were for & checked them out. Some of them have been laying in the carrier but others have been using this corner of the shed which is why I put boxes there.

But even Ha'penny tried it on for size. As she laid yesterday I'm not expecting her to lay again today. I must say, they all seemed really happy to see proper nesting boxes in their shed. I feel bad for waiting so long but priorities, priorities...
I need to eat & dress before I do extras for the girls ~ & as most were off the lay it wasn't a huge issue. Now everyone is coming back on the lay again I needed to do something ~ especially if we are going to try for chicks when the girls go broody this summer.
