Caturday in Oz! Wake up, sleepyheads

Speaking of sleepyheads, Christofur didn’t want to give up my space on the couch at lunchtime yesterday. I had to give him a bit of a shove, he didn't move much, but enough.

You've reminded me of the time I nodded off while visiting an art gallery in Melbourne! Talk about luxury, sleeping in the presence of masterpieces. And cheek! An elderly gent awakened me by singing a sleepyhead song. What a golden moment that was.

The Ha'penny has been squatting for me & I have been allowed the occasional cuddle.
Her mad woman antics have calmed down considerably since she became lead hen.
She is such a beautiful little lady!​

I find that being in charge helps many chickens to settle and become their best selves.

What a comb ! Nice to hear she didn't live up to your worse expectations and has become a good queen hen.

Happy caturday! I'm still feeling very relieved and grateful to the vets to see Grochatila back to health.
