Ribh's D'Coopage

Good morning folks :frow

We had to go to town today heading west. It looks like the damage path for the EF2 was further south than initially reported. Not heading east for at least a week. The President is there right now and there are tons of volunteers coming in for the weekend to help. Even with the main road cleared, it's still going to be ugly getting through there.
I hope Trump arrived with a shed load of money to help those who have lost in the damage.
You know what the insurance companies are going to say.........

They get a lot of forage time during the day. About mid~day the outside girls ask for access to the pen & feed @ the treadle feeder. Lavender hasn't been joining them, preferring to stay in the run & forage. Last night she preferred rice & veggies [more rice than anything] over her regular feed & she was prepared to fight for it.
I guess a hard moulting frizzle will always look a lot scruffier than a hard moulting normal chook.

I am enjoying some Australian wine tonight. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but I really do like this!

I'll be saving the bottle too, I'll do something crafty with it.

Ooh, Moscato, sweet! I’m partial to Wolf Blass and Banrock Station wines myself. If you’re into something a bit different, I can recommend Golden Drop’s mango wine, but my favourite has to be a sparkling red! 🥰

Oh those all sound lovely!!! I'll have to see what I can get in the states, but I'm all for trying something new!

Booooo, Golden Drop don’t ship internationally. :tongue But if you ever find yourself at Cairns International Airport you can pick some up from there! ;)

I also had an amazing wine in New Zealand that had pear and ginger in it!

Good evening folks :frow

A couple of young men put together a tribute to those lost in the tornado. I found it rather touching...

Very touching indeed. My prayers for all those folks suffering through this devastation. Its hard to believe the power of these storms. I hope they have the strength to rebuild, I'm not sure I would.
