I have a CWA cookbook too! I haven't tried any of its recipes yet because it postdates my llove of slowcooking. I've been expanding my slowcooking repertoire for six years or thereabouts, so yummy.

I usually do my vegetarian curry in it. I never used the CWA book for meals but I imagine they are tried & true standards. I used it for baked goods as there were often 8 ~ 10 of us to feed. I'd get a lot of the neighbourhood kids as well as our own & I taught lots of them to bake as well because their own folks wouldn't let them in the kitchen. 

... especially for baby girls!
