Sorry... I just had to I do think you can get a better rapport with less chickens. More time with the individuals, so your wife might not be far off. If I had a less rural property I’d be very happy with 6-8 chooks

@Kris5902 I'm so excited, what color eggs do they lay and what color are they? I'm sure I can slip them in unnoticed. Great strategy.

Actually I got slapped this weekend when I suggested we needed a red hen to finish ot the colors in the flock.
If I value my marriage no more will be coming.

Not a clue what color, or even what breed they are. They are POL so we should know soon. They prefer brown eggs on the farm, but I like my rainbow. I’ll probably get some pics and post in what breed... I’m wrapping meat tomorrow. I’ll have an update on my thread about today soon.
