I see how that could be a problem

I have a Kahlua recipe that costs about $7 to make vice the $25 store price and you get twice as much. It's all about research. And we had lots of time for that when I was there.

Oh dear...I would rather not admit to my first outing with the Aussies... To say I was pummeled would be an understatement.![]()

I find history gives me about zero tolerance for certain things ~ we're Scots so we lost our land, our culture, our language, our music, our dress & the right to bear arms & fight for our country to the English. To say nothing of Longshanks & his policy of state sanctioned rape to *breed 'em out*. Ugh. And no~one is going to give anything back so can we all just move forward & try not to repeat the mistakes of the past! Because no~one alive today is responsible for any of it.
. Andrews heritage is black Campbell, Graham, and a few other disreputable sorts... it’s usually best not to get him or his father started in that discussion though unless your willing to sit through several hours of yammering on!John's GM was a Glasgow woman. Came out as 10 pound migrant on the boats. He has such a disreputable history no one on either side would talk about it but family legend says the MacDonalds ate the English constables & Bonnie Prince Charlie sired an ancestor [obviously on the wrong side of the blanket]. As the Stuarts were pretty awful all round I always tell him I'm not sure I'd be telling people about that!I love “discussing” history with Andrew, lol! My mother was born in Glasgow, her Mother (MacGillvary) in Aberdeen. We don’t know about my Maternal grandfather, but it wasn’t Grandmas husband (a Maclean) and father of my two uncles. Andrews heritage is black Campbell, Graham, and a few other disreputable sorts... it’s usually best not to get him or his father started in that discussion though unless your willing to sit through several hours of yammering on!
Not sure how the Spanish got in there but speculate either from the Armada or the Inquisition...Good morning Bob.![]()

Howdy Y'all!
This weekend I upgraded my phone to a Samsung Galaxy A20, and the picture quality is AMAZING!! Be prepared to be spammed with photos.
Today is Anna's first day of 3rd grade.

I also got some updated pictures of all my Chooks! Everyone is very happy with their runs and the ability to come and go as they please. The Silkies, still need the coop moved and a permanent run built, but this works for now.

If you look closely at the head of the white silkie, you will see her 3 week old peep. He's blue like Thunder, but I'm pretty sure mom is my Mille Fleur. The red and blue chick is from the memorial day hatch, and she is also the same cross.
Here's an updated picture of my layer flock. Only my buff's and 1 EE from this year are laying. I'm still waiting on everyone else.

Breeze is a very good cockerel. He keeps his distance from me, but if I need to handle him I can. He takes good care of his girls too.

Last but not least, the sunset from last night.

What a happy looking flock! Do you keep a stool or chair in there for when you visit them @CrazyChookChookLady ?We have finally made a start on doing our run properly. We were working on the edge of the drop off so it was slow going. It won't give the girls that much more space but it will keep them contained.View attachment 1883766
I had 4 girls perched on me yesterday when I went to feed everyone. Madness.

And we had a glorious day yesterday. Still a little nippy round the edges but beautiful!View attachment 1883782
