Ribh's D'Coopage

Ok, I know @Shadrach has probably gone to bed now but Here are my first 2 profiles.

Beatha.
Araucana. Pretty sure she's just started to lay. She was pretty easy to catch & no racing, palpitating heartbeat once caught. She was pretty laid back about being photographed, though not knowing this big stranger who hoyed her out of her pen & pointed funny things @ her she was still a little skittish.

As you can see she has a beard, something of a crest & some sort of muffs developing. I will be interested to see what her finished persona looks like. She's a splash but there is very little colour on her.

And the tail.It looks longer than it is in this photo. It's pretty short stumpy & points down.

Beautiful.

Just as well it's not a competition or I'd win because Peggy is by far the cutest, with Ivy right behind :gig :lau:gig

I love how logic goes right out the window in moments like this :lau

Come on, no one is cuter than my little Einstein, Phyllis.

She set the bar very high for both of us.

I was laughing today, @MaryJanet gets 2 pullets, I top her and get 3, you top me, and the @Kris5902 sets a billion eggs to tops us all combined! :gig
Nah, I max out at just 82 eggs, with two small incubators... it @rjohns39 with the big incubator who will set a really big hatch!

Is this a pain posture?

Chickie reminds me of Sandy in her pain posture photo. She’s still napping a lot, she’ll stick her head under her wing, both standing and sitting. Or is her tail down because she’s balancing? She’ll nap, then go and have a dig in the garden. She’s pretty light when I pick her up, but no more than usual.

When sandy is in pain, she can't dig.

But maybe Chickie is feeling a little pain? Not enough to make her stand still.
