That's looks like 2 different hens but early on successive eggs can be very different.

Today's profiles: Silver Laced Wyandotte bantams.

This is Wrold & Alpia.
Wrold has the much darker markings, which makes it easy to tell them apart. They are still very young, as you can tell from their combs & the lack of colour in their faces.

They are still slightly skittish, & like Lottie stand~offish. I don't mind that. If I wanted lap chickens I would have got me some more Favorelles.

Honestly, the lacing in this breed is spectacular! They have got to be one of the prettiest birds around.

So long as I'm not making a grab for them they are very calm, quiet birds.
The Campines are screamers & the Araucanas are pretty chatty too.

Yes. That's why I'm not sure. The other one is in the coop now. If I get 2 eggs today I'll know for sure!

That will tell and it is another reason to get your eggs every day.

What drives me slightly crazy is everyone laying at different times, I have morning layers, afternoon layers, and evening layers... can we all just try to commit to maybe the same 4-5 hour period? Please

No cooperation at all.

That will tell and it is another reason to get your eggs every day.

This one was dropped randomly in the pen ~ but any new layer is prone to do that.

Yep. Mine lay all over the place ~ even occasionally @ night, dropping them with a splat from the top roost.
