Ribh's D'Coopage

Good evening folks :frow

Jeannie hope you feel better quickly :hugs:hugs We're up early this morning due to weather... multiple emergency alerts on the cell phone woke us then we got a phone call from the county telling us to take cover. A tornado touched down south west of us and traveled south east of us. Thankfully it stayed south. We've gotten 3.8 cm of rain in the last 3 hours with lots of lightning and a good dose of hail as well.

A tornado close by is a scary proposition. So glad you are safe. :hugs

Yes - we have to be understanding of each other. We are all busy people and even if we aren't we have chickens to chat to - so we can't always be super responsive. I personally love the balance in this cluster of threads - I love the stories and there is just enough non-chicken stuff to make us all real people. Most of all I love the gorgeous chicken pictures!

Tribe 2. Bracket's chicks seem slow in growing compared to Knocks, but Knock's chicks are going to be bigger adults. Be interesting to know what the ratio actually is. I suppose one could do it by weight and a fit in a box type overall dimensions.

You could also do a chest measurement. Using a measuring tape, you could measure the circumference of the chest area maybe right in front or behind the wings. I would bet that would be a great measurement of size.

You mind those tornadoes.

I just want you to know I read all of your posts and find them wonderful.

I found myself thinking the same thing the other day. I put up this huge post, pictures, videos, and nothing. Then later in the day responses started coming in.

I've learned that the "like" is a reward all its own. On a certain level, I can't believe anyone reads what I post.

Most of all, this community were have created organically is amazing. I value anyone who joins us and appreciate all of the support here even when I make mistakes with the flock. And of course you are a key member of "the Flock". Thank you for joining with us.

Thanks Bob! :hugs I just wish I had found your thread before I lost my Bessie, it would have made her passing easier.
