They are always an adventure...you would think they would be happy to be in the run...maybe that's what it was they were happy & singing your praises...

I remember that - it is a really clever idea. I looked to see if I could do that in The Chicken Palace run, but I use most of the posts to hang feeders so my space is more in the middle.
I have one stool and made a lid for it so the chickens sit on the lid and I remove it when I want to sit down.
But now I have a better solution. Due to some delivery mess-up I have an excess of rubber feed bowls and I am using them as covers for tree stumps. It works brilliantly to keep a tree stump clean for me to sit on in each part of The Palace.

That is such a cool idea. I will show this to my husband. I could actually put a couple in the run in different locations. Thank you for sharing this!

I have a purple one as well but the man procured 2 whites for me because I love them so.
