Ribh's D'Coopage

Because I don't want to clutter up MJ's thread...
This is The Hu.
You can hear Mongolian tonal singing & the lead gets right down into the fry ~ the lowest register you can get! If I remember right you also get some tonal harmonics in this piece. It is very clever musicianship.

Very unusual. Good sound.

Good morning! It took me a bit to catch up early this morning! We were helping our son move, then had to get some winterizing done, so I was a bit behind!
I took this picture the other day when we headed to his place! We were just pulling out of our driveway & I noticed how cool the clouds looked. You can also see what the landscape is like beyond our yard...sand, sagebrush, tumbleweeds & rocks! The river is below the hills, but you can't see it!

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get over you being a Folk Metal headbanger Ribh.:D

I like all sorts of odd things. 😂 I found Seanan McGuire who introduced me to filk ~ yes there is such a thing! The Inuits do throat singing as well & the Scandinavians do joik. It's pop I tend not to like ~ with some rare exceptions.
