She is gorgeous! GLW are on “my list.”

lol That is so funny. I'm not so much a fan of the GLWs but the man is. She was bought to appease him. He's getting tired of my B&W theme! Portia was my choice. Not only a SLW but frizzled to boot. She is gorgeous! The Vorwerks were also bought for him. All 3 look like being good choices. My biggest concern was getting a very domineering personality that would upset my flock dynamics but I think we have avoided that.

Wrold is in the bathroom.
The silly girl is not getting off the nest @ all [though given our weather I can hardly blame her] & when I force her she spends her whole time running round bokking & barely eats. When I lift her I can really feel her keel bone so I have had enough! Alpia gave up a couple of days ago & is back running with the flock.. Wrold can cool her heels in the bathroom until she's feeling sensible again. Hopefully that will be soon. She's alarming @ all sorts of harmless things!

Me too, Rene. I am so over my broodies! They are very sweet, very determined but enough is enough! And her pecks are getting hard!!!! I have stitches in my hand & don't need her going for them.

Oh yeah, ouch...that would hurt! Too bad your new chicks weren't young enough to stick underneath of them...that would have been a win win!

So has the name Portia stuck? I recall you weren't 100% certain of that one at first.

Yep. Portia is good to go. And so is Desdemona. I thought it might be too much name for such a tiny girl but she fills it well.
