Good point. I forget that you guys see emu in daily life just like you probably wouldn't be able to judge the size of a raccoon.

I imagine raccoons are roughly the size of a domestic cat. Is that right?

Marigold is my only female kitty and she's a bit of a diva.

Taz is my main mouser. He keeps the coops and house mouse free.

Marigold's eyes are a fabulous colour. And there's something about Taz's alertness that says "mouser".

They tend to be a fair bit bigger than an average domestic cat. A big one is about 20+ pounds whereas my bigger cats are around 12 pounds (my runt is only 6 pounds).
My guess is @BY Bob's cat Davis is approaching the size of a raccoon.

Yes, my guess would have been Maine Coon sized ~ but *guess* is the operative word.
