Yeah we went from 11 hens and 1 rooster to 17 hens and two roosters in a matter of months haha

The boys are appreciating the fire & a warm lap these cold winter days.

We are dropping down into low single figures tonight.
The girls are all tightly snuggled up on the top 2 roosts.
Even Desdemona has a higher roost than normal. ​

We got into the negatives a few nights ago. Poor chickens are probably cold. My mini pony Peggie Sue doesn’t get rugged because she has such a long coat so she’s warm enough

Single figures is getting a little too cold for me. It's why I live so far north.
