Well I certainly think so!
We have a severe weather alert starting in an hour. Hail and 50mph wind. These smart ladies are catching some rays before it starts. I can feel the temperature dropping by the minute.

She is so gentle with those big paws. I have no fear of her at all. She has never once hurt me seriously.

Except that time she tried to climb me and scratched my thigh up bad.

She’s be like someone climbing a glacier, I imagine!

Oh she practices plenty!
I don't really understand it - initially I was worried she was in pain or unhappy or something, but my honest conclusion, and I have studied her a lot, is that she is just opinionated and wants to express her opinions.
Sometimes she will be out furiously digging stuff up and she will literally run to where I am sitting, jump up on the table and yell in my face and then jump down and run off back to what she was doing before.

Well at least she's givng you a chance to understand her. Most I've known don't bother because they know we are too stupid to understand.

I have been nursing sick chickens. Oshina is on 2 lots of antibiotics to deal with an abcess & I found a mite infestation as well. The good news is she has begun to enjoy her twice daily massage as I deal with the mites. She's become a very good patient.

Sif is another matter. Her neck has become deformed & doesn't look like it will right itself. I am monitoring her quality of life. She is still moving around the yard on her own in a lopsided manner & so long as she seems to be enjoying her life she has it.

Have you got what you need for the mites? I've had a lot of problems finding decent mite kill treatments here in the UK.

I am using Pestene & the groom & kill by hand method. We are down to the super tiny ones I can barely see.
