Ribh's D'Coopage

Good morning/evening everyone 😊😴

I have survived week one ~ though I'm a bit of a psychotic mess. 🤣 So for those of you who enjoy trivia & words see if you know the correct meanings for these:
Drong
a Mead
Wick
Drong: a pathway between hedges or walls
a Mead: from the OE for meadow
Wick: village or hamlet.

Nope! Didn't know the words either....

My publishing unit has suggested we all need to start a glossary for all the new technical words we are about to encounter but so far my vocab has been adequate for that. It is archaeology that made me do a double take. Up until told otherwise I had assumed mead was a sweet fermented honey wine & wick was something attached to a candle. I couldn't have been more wrong! 🤣 A cursory google search was no help either & autocorrect assumed I wanted drones. :he A dictionary eventually solved the problem down amongst the dead OE :gig
