Over time it developes a patina.

So it's not about improving the tea, it's all about making a cool animal.

To "feed" them.

Really it is just a fun way to use up the first wash of the leaves and the dregs of the cup and pot. Eventually the tea will leave a patina on the pet and form a kind of glaze.

It is part of the tea ceremony and, I think, for me anyway, helps with mindfulness and being present in the moment as you sip your tea.

I have switched from coffee to tea. For some reason since I had the flu the smell of coffee makes me nauseous. . Do I am trying to learn all the "correct" things about having tea.

WEDNESDAY WHEREVER.
The pattern for this blanket is called bunny tracks. I have been waiting on some lovely Beatrix Potter buttons [Flopsy, Mopsy & Peter] to arrive so I could finish it off. They arrived yesterday.​

This clip from the "Sherlock" episode, "The Blind Banker" explains it well I think.
The quality of the clip isn't very good unfortunately.

Yes, I remember this episode ~ for the tea! My youngest put me on to this show. I binge watched. One of the very few modern t.v shows I've thought was any good @ all.
