Ah, well, you see I've been spoilt. I've always had some winter layers. I've bought pullets @ POL due the beginning of winter & with our mild winters they do lay. Plus until this year I had BRs, who are winter layers, so I've always done quite well that way so a broody just now I do not need. Bad enough in summer...Instead of
