Does anyone know when ringnecks develop their ring??? I bought a couple at 3 weeks old, now going on 4 and still see only the "end" parts on the sides of their necks. Looks wildtype color but one of the parents was white?

Also does that mean they are both boys? Or girls?

What kind of cross? Recent, or just in general? I am new to dove genetics, I hope they are both female as one took a shine to me, and the more skittish one just went with the tangerine boy i bought also. (I was told he was 3 years old, white neck ring. Friendly but terrified of hands???)
