In the Brooder
I have a RIR rooster that was given to me by my neighbor when we had no rooster. I did not raise this bird and do not know what happened to it before I got it. With that said the bird was good for six months before he started to attack me and my little sister (she is 16) and my father. With that said the bird does not pay any attention to my mother and has never offered to attack her. We have also let his spurs get out of control and they are now 2 inches long what is a good way to remove them without hurting the animal. And is there anything we can do to stop the attacks. We have tried to teach him a lesson many times with a stick we now keep in the coop area ( so we can feed with out getting jumped.) Any help would be great as i am unable to kill him.
