Alternatively, keep untrained dogs separate from your chickens, or expect some losses.
Tying a dead chicken to a dog collar sounds both ineffective and depressing.

Not sure how this thread got off track so quickly.

There has been so many threads about peoples dogs accedentily getting into the coop and killing or injuring their chickens.

He was also in a fight and badly injured. His two pups attacked him.

Sounds like you just don't really know what you are doing. My dog is aggressive, but he's only ever attacked one dog, and it wasn't my mistake to be made. My sister let the dogs out together.

2 male American bulldog Catahula mixes vs 1 male catahula is a whole different story.
