Roo or hen French feather cuckoo marans?

The bird in question is the lighter colored one, I finally got a pic of our Roo Buckbeak next to her(him?) They are the same age approximately 2.5 months old. We have another rooster who is low on the pecking order and definitely presents as a rooster. So is this a hen or Roo?

All birds mature at different rates. I had four cockerels at one point and one was a very slow developing developing I even thought it was a pullet. I think he was suppressing his cockerel traits.

Because they're two different birds. The other guy just happened to be really fast-maturing

My 2.5 month cuckoo maran pullet. It’s weird because one of yours has the female dark coloring.
