She is really beautiful and looks very female. Make sure you introduce her to the flock slowly. I like to keep them within sight but not able to touch for a couple weeks and have minimal problems when combining.

They're still pretty little at six weeks so it's hard to say. I have this one really small bantam this looks to be the size of your chick and she's full grown. But my silkies and showgirls are a bit bigger.Thank you love!! I am so glad that you agree that she looks super feminine, puts my mind at ease haha. Yep, every day I put her in that little pen (Im there with her) and she can see the other 2 girls . So what do you think about my bantam suspicion? I am really petite and have tiny hands and my hand is the size of her whole body. The father is a bantam silkie (as most silkies are here in the US).

Here's the only pics I have on my phone of some of them. That showgirl is a bit bigger now.

I am so sorry I didn't see the post you made after my post, it was 2 days before my birthday and my grandmother went into the hospital that day so I never logged back on. I want to show you how big my girl has gotten (you were right btw, not only is she a pullet, she laid her first egg yesterday.....and its green!! So she is laying green eggs like her EE mommy did. I love silkie crosses so much, actually I just love silkies in general hahaha . Here are some pictures of my baby girl a few months after we talked. Look how much she changed from the pics on the first page, it's incredible!! View attachment 1465994 View attachment 1465995 View attachment 1465996 View attachment 1465997
She's beautiful! I'm happy you got an egg. I have a showgirl/cream legbar that I am 1) hoping is a pullet and 2) hoping lays blue eggs. Just waiting for her/him to grow a bit more.Edit to add: Hahahaha OMG!! Is that a tutu on your last girl? I can't!! Its so much cuteness that I just can't deal ........OMG @Mylied they are gorgeous!! OMGGGGGGGG she is gorgeous!!!!!! Wow, the coloring does remind me of the patches my girl has on her breast area . Thank you so much lovely, her name was Valentina because she was born on Valentines Day , but I didn't think it suited her so I started calling her Little One. She was so small just like her daddy (a silkie boy) and she started responding to it so it stuck!! Also, please feel free to post more pictures, I LOVE seeing them . You seem like such a kind soul (I can tell by how you talk about your babies) and your little one Emily looks so happy and healthy too!!@ChikkiDoodleRoo sooooo gorgeous!!
I love her! What’s her name?
I have a partridge silkie named Silkie lol.
Mine is 15 weeks old and I’m starting to suspect “she” might be a he.
She is getting reddish wings and what looks like a roostery tail to me.
I don’t care either way because Silkie is my fav and I will keep her/him forever.
I also have two Naked Neck pullets and they look like they might be EE crosses.
They’re the same age as Silkie so hopefully we’ll know soon when they start laying.
Your cross looks a lot like my Emily in her feathering.

She even has green legs.

She’s holding her wings out because it was pretty hot that day.
