Rooster acting really strange overnight please help!

6th-month-old rooster has been dragging his tail on the ground since 2 days ago

I hear a big commotion of chickens (like they were being scared) and then my rooster starts running towards me with his tail dragging behind him. He did have a wound on his leg though.

Yesterday he was moping around, hiding in dark areas.

The commotion I spoke of earlier might have been a fight with another rooster. But I'm not sure. He has been chased by other roosters before.

He lifted his head and stretched his neck in the air and started running frantically in circles then starts running like crazy every which way. He only calms down and acts normal when I hold him. Also, his comb at the ends were dark red/black yesterday but now its normal red.

While I was checking his comb i saw this climb out of his feathers.

He has been acting listless when he's on his own. But right when I come around or if there are any other chickens he runs around frantically.
You mention he had a wound on his leg? Do you have a photo of that?
A video of his actions would be good - the frantic running in circles? Upload video to youtube, provide us a link.

Dragging the tail it's hard to know if it's injury or illness. If he was beaten or topped by another rooster it could be a sign of dejection as well, but I would give him another going over.
You found lice, so I would definitely treat him for those. The whole flock if you can.
While you are monitoring his actions/behavior, check his crop to see that it's empty in the morning. Look inside the beak for any obstructions or lesions. Just asking here, he does not wear a no crow collar right? If by any chance he does, please take it off to see if he improves.

There are no snakes where I live. The wound was on his foot. It was the size of one of the scales? On his leg. Like one of the scales was missing and bleeding a little bit. And Thank you!

He doesn’t wear one of those collars. I’ll check his crop in the morning. I’ll post a picture of his foot tomorrow and a video of his behavior! Thank you!!
