Rooster behavior question

My rooster is basically “raping” my chickens which of whom aren’t even laying eggs yet. We have seen some of the hens nesting but no eggs yet although can’t wait!! I was just wondering if this is normal or if I need to do something about it. He doesn’t seem to be hurting them...

This is normal, however, a good rooster asks first. How old is everyone? How many? It's best to keep under age pullets away from particularly hormonal roosters until they're bigger.

You mean he tries to mount them and they don't squat and accept?
How old are these birds, in weeks or months?
How long has he been trying to mount them?
