Rooster "hit" me

This may be a stupid question, but I figure what's the harm. My rooster just "hit" me and gave me a good cut. Should I do anything special other than a warm soapy wash and normal disinfectant? Hurts like the dickens, think he may have hit a nerve in the back of my hand. He hasn't liked me ever since I had to catch him to move him from the tiny coop we started out with to the nice large yard and coop we have now. I didn't realize at the time I could have just opened the door and he would have just gone to his hens

I would wash it with warm water and put neosporin and a band-aid on it. No such thing as a stupid question. Sounds like your roo needs to wind up in the pot, if you ask me.

Maybe so but I've never been able to kill anything unless it's suffering and he does a good job of protecting his hens so I'll just be more careful from now on. Thanks for the advice!
