rooster not normal!!

My roo seems better, but he still is a little slow walking.
He's making some chickens sounds again, and only droops his tail somtimes.

My roo is still down, the mites are gone, I think. but he's still tail down. do you think he's sick not because of the mites?
and do you think I should give him some Baytril?

I am really worrying about him.

The label freaked me out a bit, so I dident use it directly on them.
I did however put it in the place where they have been dust bathing, and in the coop.
I used the DE directly on them.

I saw a mite on him yesterday, so I did dust him with the sevin dust.

He will not eat normal chicken food. He will eat craked corn and bread like crazy. but Is that good for him?
I dont think the bread is?
I am giving him eggs, mash potatos, oatmeal. but he only eats a little.
can I feed him hamberger?

you can feed him hamburger if cooked, but don't substitute that for his reg. feed, also give him other forms of protein, along with his reg, feed, he's probably anemic from the mite infestation and it's going to take some time to build him back up. But don't use DE it's worthless in treating mites. Hope you also cleaned out your coop and dusted it out real good because if your birds had mites their in the coop and bedding. you right in giving him scrambled egg but corn isn't going to do much to help him get over this, it's basically just like candy is too us. and mash potatoes doesn't sound too healthy either. he needs good sourse of protein to get his blood back to normal..

I am just wondering, how could it be a mite infestation, if I only saw a few mites on the birds??????
