Rooster or Hen?

[Chicken one]

We got 4 new chickens, this is by far the biggest due to breed, it made the rooster sounds this morning, my wife is ready to get rid of it. Seems a little quick to judge to me. Any ideas if it is for sure a rooster?

Judging by that posture, tail, hackle feathers, and the "rooster sounds," I think you have yourself a cockerel there.

I also agree that is a beautiful cockerel . You cant miss that tail shape upright pointed feathers. He would make some beautiful chicks. Hope you can find him a good home.
