I have six 3 month old pullets. I was peaking in the coop and 1 chicken sneezed on me and I could see a slight runny nose. eyes looked fine but it was dark. should I be worried. possible causes? what should i do? I will get a better look in the morning at all the birds
thanks

Chickens can get colds-isolate the sneezing one until you work out the problem-it can spread fast.
If they are healthy they can fight the cold-as it's a virus u cannot do much. Keep it warm and spoil it for awhile.
But it can develop into an infection if they can't fight it off, just like people.
Chickens also sneeze if they get something up their nostrils, so it could just be that. Hopefully that is all it is.

thanks,
also i should note this chicken was attacked by neighbors yorky and lost some wing feathers. no puncture wounds. and has since then been some what isolated from the flock at times.
