Safety of buried eggs?

I know but I just feel like it compared to how involved I used to be haha

:lau I can’t do that! Although I think I might get a lot more accomplished if I did.

Thanks. Idk. I suppose I should actually change it instead of doing the whole self pity thing haha

Nah it’s okay, not too personal at all haha anyway, I haven’t been lately but I usually always get bloodwork and everything when I go including the last physical and it’s always come back normal I think and it’s been a while so idk. I should probably get it checked out though cause I get migraines a lot too. And a few other things ha but honestly I most of it might just be diet and my phone. And lack of exercise ha cause I’m on my phone like all the time and often just plant for a while and put off doing what I was going to do. I feel like that’s part of it sitting around on that so I do need to work on using the phone less. Sounds stupid but I think I’m like addicted to it or something ha but that said I do think the environment at home isn’t exactly conducive to being productive either because no one else really is and plus it’s also quite stressful sometimes so I think that does not help anything ha and when I’m away from it, I’m usually way better, so I do think there’s some sort of something going on from that or something. Idk. I’ve had depression before and also have anxiety and OCD so it’s definitely possible I could have it again and I kind of think I might but at the same time, I also just spend too much time glued to my phone which I think is a lot or all of my problem and I also hate making excuses too especially when I could just get off my butt and actually do something ha and even if it is/was depression, I still would need to force myself to do something anyway, especially since I really don’t want to go on medicine or anything, so either way, I gotta force myself to do something other than sit around so I may as well just do it haha although that said I have been thinking of finding a therapist or something to see too but that’s another one I keep putting off. I’ve been meaning to find one for months, years even haha
Have you collected this evening's eggs yet?
:pop

I don’t think I will now, just got back and I don’t want to wake them up/disturb them haha 10:30 here. I’ll check them again first thing in the morning though.* I just checked them at like 7, 7:30ish anyway so not that long ago. Just did the night check a bit early I guess haha

*Literally cause I have to get up early again to dog sit. None of my usual 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 haha

Oh and the last check was actually a pretty long one and I hung out with them/visited them from outside the fence/talked to them like a total weirdo, and pulled some grass clumps and dirt for them from this really tall/overgrown patch next to the coop taking over the grape plant and they loved that. And I also weeded some. Not a ton cause I was being attacked by mosquitoes but all these little plants have suddenly taken over, I think it’s the rain we just had, all the same type of weed, so I just pulled a bunch of the ones that were growing right next to the plants in the garden. Didn’t take much effort, basically just scraping the dirt up, they were barely in there, and I only did it around a few of the plants, still have the whole rest of the garden to do, but still much better than usual haha

Good, sounds like progress!

Thank you! I think so too! Now hopefully I can actually keep it up... :fl I suck at making any lasting changes and usually any changes whether it’s diets or new habits/breaking old ones or whatever only last like a couple days to a week at most.

I've heard that it takes three weeks to make a new habit permanent. So if you can do something every day for a week, reward yourself in some tangible way. Then do it again for another week. Repeat, and you're well on your way!
Oops, I'm sorry ... am I hijacking this thread? Just trying to help. I'll quit now, but I do wish you well!

Thank you! This makes. Lot of sense. I will try that. Hopefully it’ll be easier than some other changes since I love the chickens and should want to hang out with them which should make it easier haha hard part will just be getting up to do it ha

And noo not at all!! It’s okay!! You’ve definitely been very helpful and I appreciate it. Besides, if anything, I took it wayyy off topic myself hahah so it’s all good!! And thank you for the help!!

You're welcome, glad I can help. I think I've been where you are ... what does my boy's t-shirt say? "The struggle is real," lol, it's a pic of a T Rex with really short arms trying to use a smart phone, haha. Just maybe keep your expectations low at first so you don't get overwhelmed, you can always grow from there. If all you can do is gather eggs, hooray. If you can do thet AND visit with them, yippee, but don' expect so much of yourself you won't do it at all, see what I mean,? Keep it Simple for now. A done something is better than a perfect nothing! My cousin says that and she's real smart. :)
