Sapphire Gems: The Unknown Chicken?

Hello! So I know there’s not much known about this breed so I’m going to document mine. I got 4 pullets today from Atwoods. Super excited! So far they seems to be very calm, docile, and curious. They seems to be alright with being handled.

We got 4 Sapphire Gems too! Love them and can't wait to watch them change as they grow! Some of them look like fluffy little penguins.

We have two! They are six weeks old on Monday, and they are beautiful!

My biggest Sapphire Gem chick (1st pic) is approximately 4 to 5 weeks old, and her face is kinda bulky. But then the next biggest chick has a more soft, rounded look.

Soooo......I think this sapphire is a roo. The comb is twice as big and red as the others. The face is bigger too. Thoughts?
