sebright thread

Just lost my 7 week old SQ sebright roo to a hawk today. Still have another roo, but that one has a single comb, although other than that, he looks better than the one I lost.

Thats really sad

I caught a hawk trying to make off with a Lakenvelder rooster I had once. The hawk had knocked the rooster and was about to fly away with the rooster and I tried to grabbed him and the hawk flew up in a tree. So I shot the hawk so I wouldnt have to deal with it again. Where I am from you can shoot hawks that are harrassing your poultry but you have to leave them where they fall.

Has anyone ever crossed a nanny with a Seabright? I'm trying it? Curious what I'm gonna get? Seabrights were bred from nankins i know? I was gonna try to breed back a couple times and see what i get for fun? Breed back to the one nanny roo I have...

Hi all, I'm looking for sebright hatching eggs for the new years hatch-a-long. I'm having no luck at all and I'm hoping someone here might be willing to help me out or know someone who can.

Thank you :)

I know this prob has been asked before so sorry but are Golden Sebrights just extremely slow growers? I have 3 im guessing about 6 months, beautiful feathers etc but still super tiny! Got them 3 months ago and they haven't grown much at all
