Semi-wild muscovy duck questions

She just flew into my back tree the lowest branch is about 20ft up. I'm just gonna wait for it to get dark and hope she goes into the coop with the other 2. If she does go back into the coop is it safe to clip them yet??

Phew... she went in once it got dark i was worried for awhile. She was just sitting up in the tree for about 20 minutes talking to the other ones I think she was trying to tell them to come up into the tree. Good thing both their wings are clipped they got very excited when they saw her fly and ran around flapping like crazy. I am worried if I let her out tomorrow she is gonna go a little crazy flying around, the park that she returned to when I grabbed her is only like 1/4 mile from my house so I'm worried she might go back there. Are they safe to clip now or should I wait longer? If its still to early should I keep her locked up until its time?

I just ordered 12, unsexed, hoping for a drake and 4 hens out that to keep. The rest will head to freezer camp when the time comes.
Looking forward to trying these out!

just now seeing this, very sorry.

Okay I didn't think I'd ever return to this, my first ever thread on BYC, but here I am. Tonight while driving my girlfriend back home we decided to stop by the park even though it was midnight. To my surprise, as I was walking up to the ducks, one of them recognized me and ran right up to me. IT WAS PIPSQUEAK!!!! I wasn't sure at first, but I picked some grass and offered it to her and she ate it right out of my hand like she always used to!!!!!

I truly never thought I would see her again, and I am just completely thrilled to see that she is alive and well!! She seemed happy to see me, even let me pet her a bit and didn't even freak out when I picked her up. Now, what is complicated is usually I would have just grabbed her immediately and brought her back home with me to live with her sisters here, but I had to go through some stuff with my county awhile back and now I have a clearance to own 3 female muscovy ducks, not 4. I will be contacting the person I was initially in contact with who works with the county to see if it is possible for me to have 4 instead of 3, so I really hope that it works out and I will be able to take her back in. She looks almost identical to her sister Puffin who is here now, I am sure they would be so happy to see eachother.
