Semi-wild muscovy duck questions

Haha alright I guess me clipping a couple days ago was pointless, I'm just worried that she could fly away once they come back before I get a chance to clip them.

And yeah haha it's funny how similar the two look the one that looks like her is my girl named penguin and she is the one that is puppy dog tame and loves snuggles and pets and always comes to hang out with me when I come outside

Here i found an old video from while she was still living at the park before she flew away for the last 6 or 7 months. As you can see she was the sweetest and the most tame of them, I really hope that after awhile as she gets more comfortable she acts like that again, now whenever I'm walking in the general direction of them the other 2 ducks don't care but I can tell she stresses out a little cause she's always just kinda walking away as I walk closer.

To be where you are with her now is great! You’ve done a great thing bringing her home where she is safe an secure❤️

What a beautiful young hen! Bless you for taking her in again. I’m so glad that your other two have been so welcoming to her. I’m sure that her skittishness will fade in time, and I’m guessing that her molt may be making her more nervous than she would normally be. My two ‘Scovy hens are usually quite social, but they they won’t even let me come close to them when they are molting. It makes that they would seem especially vulnerable during that time. Anyways, I look forward to reading more updates!

Ah yeah that makes sense, she's already getting a little less skiddish but she's still much more skiddish than the other 2. Something that I have noticed that I wasn't expecting is since bringing her back in I haven't really been bit by any mosquitos, and when looking out I see my other 2 foraging with her which isn't something they really did before because they were raised inside. Since taking her back in theyre really eating a lot of bugs and weeds and I couldn't be happier about that.

I went out today to just hang with them and I was petting the other ducks and she for the first time just walked right up to me as if she wanted to be pet so I was petting her for a good 5 minutes before she decided to go do something else :p she was acting like she liked being pet but she was ashamed of it 🤣😂
