So we have the little chicken that could. One I thought would not make it though the night is a go getter and still with us. YAY
It also has a friend a ....... SHOW GIRL silkie

I was so hopping one would hatch. Currently the two are bowling with eggs. Next up in the hatching arena is a white silkie. All the eggs have pipps

Ok...so here is the update. Sad but true. I have two bators going. One in lockdown with 24 eggs and one brand new chic and one with 5 purebred silkie eggs just cooking right along, those arent due to hatch until the 18th. Well today the bulb EXPLODED in the one with the chick in it. SOOOOOO quickly, very quickly move the 24 eggs to the other bator pull out the turner and start packing it full of lockdown eggies. I pull out hatched chickie and check for glass-she is all good no cuts. I put her in the brooder with 25 babies from MPC and she is dry now and happy. So I thought all was lost until-came home from the dentist and found one VERY loud chickie hatched completely and one more has pipped. I love mother nature!!!

Here are my 2 new lil fuzzy butts that hatched this morning!!

I have 10 eggies left in bator 2 hatch prolly 2morrow these 2 were early!

I took a gob of pictures of the 4 keets but .. my mom is copying stuff onto the computer and is using the plug in where I have to plug the camera into so it'll have to either be late, late, tonight or tomorrow morning...
