September Hatch-a-long!

Pics
What kind of egg is it? My Leghorn mixes & Bielefelders hatched from XL eggs and they were all huge.
55 flower hen? Everything I've read says they are average sized chickens, but the four eggs I'm incubating are at least twice the size of an average egg... will the chicks hatch out large, but grow into regular chickens? Mine are incubating really well but I'm a little worried about when they hatch, if the chick might have problems since the eggs are taller/rounder?

Runner duck eggs. I'll probably end up selling whatever ducklings hatch out, if I can find buyers this time of year.

Ooooh, I've always loved runner ducks! I think it's the penciled that I like, is that a color? I think so. Can't wait to see pics of your babies, when is hatch day?

Me experience is pretty limited so hopefully someone else will chime in. Mine hatched out larger and are still larger than the other chicks at 5 weeks. My Ameraucanas have almost caught up though. I have some 55 Flowerys in the incubator too, the eggs are huge!

My Flo will be hatching next Thursday and my Elsa will hatch her 2nd batch one week from Monday. Total of about 16 eggs.
Betty hatched 10 2 weeks a go and 1 a week after that. I have had 19 hatch in 6 weeks.
Hope the girls hatch most of what they are sitting on now. I will have 32 hens laying next spring. I will have lots of hatching going on but only with broody hens.
I may buy a small incubator to help with hatch if someone gives up to soon. So far my girls do not give up.
