September Hatch-a-long!

We are both local here, so we could do that! You needing more of these hatching egg's or pullet's? You could even have my extra boy's for eating if you want, at least until you get your flock built up the way that you want them.

I dunno what I'm going to do with my flock yet. That's taken a backseat to other things for the time being. Mostly because I'm putting off making any decisions. Also, hubs wants a cone and to build a plucker before I do anything. I'm sure it makes it less personal and the process goes faster. He's a bit softened by me over the years which blows my mind.

How is that thread titled? I'm having trouble finding it.
You might want to keep an eye out of that NN breed thread then, as it might be possible for you to find someone who is close enough to you that's doing them. Some of us are hatching out some real pretty ones, and will always have extra chicks or hatching eggs available. There are so many way's that you can go with the NN gene.

So sorry. :hugsMaybe you can find her a couple of day old chicks? Poor girl.
So I pulled the last of the eggs from under the broddy and opened them all and they were all off, unfertile eggs. Will be contacting the guy I got them from. Still no idea what to do with poor Doris who is now sitting on nothing :hit

So, I guess that the best thing that you can do for her now is to either buy a couple of day old chicks for her, or you will have to break her from being broody.

Thanks. That is what I"m trying to do but no one has any except one place where if I order today for Monday but I don't like what they have (red hybrids or NNs).
