September Hatch-A-Long!

How do you people stand the waiting???? Today is day 9 and I'm holding off on candling till tomorrow, but I keep getting this big hot rock in my stomach wondering if they are all ok? What if I'm not turning them correctly? What if I did something wrong and they're all bad? Aaaahhhh!

OMG..i was adding water and the syringe went crazy and 2 of the eggs got sprinkled!!!! IS THIS BAD??? Its tiny tiny little drops mainly on the end of the egg.

Im having trouble keeping the humidity up now. Its drying out pretty fast.

:love  the things we go through as mothers lol!! it gives me more pleasure than them :D

I just hope some of them hatch. Is that too much to ask for my first ever batch? :fl
If this doesn't work I will be packing up the incubator until spring and just concentrate on keeping my girls and their husband happy. It's already cooling down fast here.

Hahaha! Why do we do it again? I only started with a few hens at the start of this year and already I'm hatching (attempting to anyway) my own eggs!

Could you not blot the water off with tissue/kitchen roll? I think they will be fine if it's just a couple of drops.
I struggle with humidity, it's either way up or way down.

Its O.K. you'll survive! we hatched quail from shipped eggs once and 4 out of 8 hatched

By the time i went back to recheck the eggs were dry. I wish there was a switch to turn off the fan for lockdown. It sure does dry things up quickly. I wont sleep at all tonight worrying about the humidity.

My humidity spiked to 86% and I can't get it down :(
