If you want to see what a Cochin should look like, see my Avatar. He is a standard sized Black, but that is generally what they should look in shape and appearance. They look like they have EE in their make-up with those combs and beards. Cochins do not have beards. Definitely NOWHERE near pure cochin.
All of yours are mixes unfortunately. My guess some silkie and Easter egger, and potentially cochins, but it's hard to say for sure. They are definitely interesting looking.HORRIBLE pix, but these are the newer black/red roosters in with the strange pair. Frizzled. Heavy, spiky comb, broad, and yellow heavy feathered legs.
The white bantam hen, in the first 3 pix is the One that laid the eggs for the strange pair. The Frizzled rooster in the first 3 pix is the Papa. I hatched the eggs. So, there may be something up with Rob Roy's genetics, then. Yuki is Cochin, single comb, yellow legs, tan eggs. May be mystery solved, lol. The little roo I lost to a hawk was perfect cochin bantam. I'd never seen a Frizzled chicken, until Rob Roy, lol. I had to look him up. But the 3 came from a reputable hatchery...I hammer that phrase, AGAIN, because when I talk of selling my RI Reds, or Jubilees, people want a "reputable hatchery". Funny. ..you can only be as reputable as what you get.If you want to see what a Cochin should look like, see my Avatar. This is what a white bantam should look like.
