SET EGGS JUNE 23 ANYONE WITH ME?

Ok, so I've broken some more shell off of the two eggs that have made no attempt in the past 24 hours. I wrapped them both in a warm wet paper towel to keep the membrane from drying out....wish me luck.

I'm so heartbroken that they aren't even trying to get out any more.

Is there anyway to remove the membrane and completely hatch them by hand? I don't want to lose them, but they aren't even trying :(
I had to help one yesterday. That was stressful. She's one of the loudest ones I have in the house right now! Good luck;)

I just got a shipment of Rouen ducks and silkies. My silkies are doing wonderful, but we lost one of our ducks about an hour after getting it out of the box.

I have two out of 22 that pipped this afternoon!!!! Oye!!! My poor lil bator is gonna be full if they all hatch!!! I have 7 pheasant eggs in there too that I just set last week. My brooder is ready though.

I have 6 chirping away in the incubator. One trying to get out and 3 I have nothing on but I did put a few in later. I have one guy that his legs and body look so big that he can't get up and don't know how to get its legs going. Do I just wait or try to help do something.

I set them up on their feet. Also using a very small reptile dish I give my chicks water with save a chick in it. Also put some chick food in the bater, sprinkle on a paper towel. Give the hatchees something to do and helps give them strength.

They will dry but sometimes they dont fluff well cause they are still coated with egg white it will flake off and then they will fluff up. You can brush them with a soft tooth brush to clean the egg white off if you are in a rush to see them fluffy. Some take longer to get their land legs than others. Ive had a few weak ones that took close to a day before they could walk and stand well.

The one that was so big and he could not get up died, I don't like that part of this. I have 6 chirping away but still have 3 eggs that they are kicking everywhere.:(

Well i have the same guy from this morning still with a hole in the egg about 1/2 inch total but hasnt gone farther since about 10 am.or not much.
Other 2 eggs still no action at all. I am having trouble with my heat..Keeps going down to 98.2, 98.4, 98.8 I had to close the vent plug nearly all the way and the heat thing is going and going it seems like every time i go in there It might get to 99.1 oreven 99.7 then its goes back to 98.2
.Hope the heater isnt going out.
It sure is acting crazy in there.
Wonder if i should leave the light on all night in the closet? Do they need light to work in there. or will he sleep until morning now like the big chicks or will he go back to work hatching at night?
