Set eggs today Saturday 2/22 - anyone else?

QUESTION: Does the climbing and moving on the eggs by the chicks that have hatched first make it harder for the others to hatch?

I have 7 pips now. The first 3 are still not zipping yet.

We have 3 babies and most of the rest are pipped. One was making good progress but has stopped. Hopefully it was just taking a break.

Everyone must be busy with chicks! I have 8 babies so far.

10 babies now and two more that are working on zipping. After this, all of the eggs that pipped yesterday will have hatched. I am trying not to worry because today is technically day 21 so that means half of my chicks hatched a day early but I feel like the others should have at least pipped by now. I don't know why they're so far behind their hatchmates.

My mystery eggs turned out to be reddish chicks.

GRchicks - The eggs I have that are were pipped and in the process of zipping had no problems doing it even though they were being kicked around by the other chicks.

21 babies total! I had 1/2 my eggs hatch "early" the rest never did anything. Did egg-topsies, 2 were early quitters that I actually was questioning but left in, and he rest looked like fully formed chicks.... what went wrong? wish I knew.
but exited for the new chickies!

I have 2 in "ICU" I had to assist in hatching - they were stuck in the egg, a bit shrink wrapped I think, they were the last two to pip, and sat for 24 hours doing nothing. I think even though the humidity was okay, they dried up a little. they are eating and drinking now. little wobbly still, I have washed them a couple times as they still have their feathers stuck t them. keeping them upstairs for a little bit to see if I need to continue bathing.

Half of my eggs have hatched. The other half are not pipped. I took them out and tapped them today and they didn't peep. Today is day 21 but I'm not feeling terribly optimistic about them. On the other hand, I have 12 gorgeous little babies that are in the brooder now. My daughter is loving on them. She has been waiting on pins and needles to be able to hold one since the moment the first one hatched.

Everybody is hatching now. I'm a little jealous. I have turkeys so, one more week. I candled Wednesday and had 4 clears in the 16 I set. So hopefully next weekend I'll have pictures of a dozen little poults. I got my brooder ready...Come On Babies!

3 babies out, 2 more pipped and the other 1/2 are sort of quiet but occasionally rocking. My 14 month old son is very confused about why we won't let him touch.

Bator was getn full. Pulled these 15 out. Left in 3 wet ones. More pippin n zipping
